The idea of having too many commercial moving services near you is both a good and bad thing. It’s good because you don’t have to be on a waiting list to remove your items, but bad. After all, you may have difficulty deciding between Valley Relocation and everyone else.

Remember the following before signing the dotted line; you’ll have no problem choosing the right service.

Know Your Move

Knowing your move means knowing your mover. As long as you know the type of relocation you want, you can shortlist the services and make the most of the right one. There are generally three relocations: interstate, intrastate, and long-distance.

Not every company provides all three of the above, which is good because now you have fewer to choose from.

Do Your Homework

It’s not a good idea to click on the first Silicon Valley relocation service you see on Google. No matter how high it might rank, you want to look up at least ten relocation services before making your decision.

Keep your eyes peeled for negative reviews and look at how often they get them and whether they’re from the same poster. If satisfied with their public image, move on to the services themselves. See if they offer packing services and whether they’re included in your relocation package or not.

In the end, prioritize reputation (reviews) over service cost because fumbling a commercial move can be an expensive thing to deal with.

Ask All Your Questions Beforehand

It’s not every day that people uproot their entire business to relocate elsewhere. It’s a long, tedious, and expensive process even when it’s a smooth ride, but it can be an absolute nightmare if you ask all your questions during the move, not before.

Ask the movers for the following before booking your short- or long-distance move:

  • Registered USDOT number.
  • Quote and hidden fees.
  • Additional transfers
  • Subcontractors, if any.
  • Insurance coverage
  • Packing, storage, and installation.
  • Filing claims and requesting refunds.

Understand the Payment Structure

Ignoring the payment structure in favor of the advertised price may not make you bankrupt, but it will leave you with regrets.

Some moving companies advertise half the amount they charge to attract customers. They avoid legal action by including the additional costs, taxes, and whatnot in the terms and services, which no one reads.

Suppose you want to avoid a moving service equivalent to Spectrum cable, all money and no quality. In that case, you need to read the fine print to see if they charge extra for insurance, additional services, and anything else they tacked on without your knowledge.

Start with our valley relocation and storage service in the San Francisco Bay Area. Tick all the above boxes before hiring our movers to relocate your commercial kitchen equipment, hospital and medical facility, and commercial office, to name a few.
